The Walk will be held on the lovely grounds of Freedom Park in
The Queen City - Charlotte, NC.  We will walk along Duck Pond and then meet in
the Pavilion and around Shelter #3.  Additional lawn area has been reserved for the
picnic, lawn games, or just relaxing on a blanket and lawn chairs to mingle.

Cumberland Ave.

East Blvd.
and go straight into
the parking lot of
the Indoor Pavilion.

Primary Entrance for all Walkers:
Turn onto Freedom Park Service
Drive (Main Park Entrance) from East
Blvd. and continue straight following
creek until you come to the end. The
parking lots are here (
P).  I will have
directional signs in the park.

If we have over 200 participants then we will have
this area as additional overflow parking.  It is the
Carolina's Medical Center parking lot that is located
across the street from the park on East Boulevard.
Parking is on a first come basis!

We will be walking
around this pond...
1-1/2 times around the
pond is a mile. Thus, if
we circle the pond 5
times we will be
exceeding goal!  Since
we celiacs are top
performers, I know we
can do it!

way over to the park but
have a long way to go!

them on the park bridge...
