Dr. Green established The Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University in 2001.  The Center's mission is to redefine the future of celiac disease
and treatment on an ongoing basis, through continuing advances in research, patient care, and physician and public education.

Dr. Peter Green is one of only a few recognized experts on celiac disease in the United States.  The Celiac Disease Center has become
world-renowned for its services and programs.  It is also one of the first medical school supported centers in the United States dedicated to the
treatment and study of celiac disease.
