Summary
The service at P.F. Changs was great! They also let us take our time so we could have time
to chat! It was incredibly wonderful having a full menu with so many choices! I think
everyone had a great time and we missed all you who had other commitments.
We had several new people attend. Randy is only one month diagnosed and is still trying to
figure this all out! We shared all that we could in the short time we had! He was very
complimentary of everyone and said we have a very positive group! Betty invited her
daughter, Martha, and friend, Twila, who will be joining our group. Twila has been
diagnosed about 5 years and has come a long way! Pat who is a nutritionist and dietician
brought her two adorable daughters, Jackie and Michelle! Pat is a walking encyclopedia of
information about managing the celiac lifestyle!! She has made such a difference in the
Charlotte community by working with grocery stores, doctors, chefs, etc. So when you
meet her, make sure to thank her!
Well, mark August 20th down on your calendar! The place still needs to be confirmed but
as soon as I know, I’ll send out a note. Have a great month!
