Directions from Charlotte area: Take I-77 going south to exit 88 - Gold Hill road (2
miles south of Carowinds into SC) . When you get off make a right and stay in the
right lane. Take this straight up to intersection of Gold hill and US 160. At the
intersection the left corner is a shopping center , across the street on the left side
is a Sunoco Gas station. On the right is a Church and across the street on the right
is a Eckard drug store. Go straight across the intersection and there is a shopping
center with a Lowes foods. Make a right into the shopping center and the Asian Bowl
is straight ahead.

Summary
Nine of us had lunch at the Red Bowl and most of us went shopping afterwards! It was
so much fun and this was absolutely the best restaurant experience for many of us. The
Red Bowl has the most extensive gluten-free menu I have seen! The manager and staff
went out of their way to make our visit safe, enjoyable and memorable! We all said we'll
be back! A few of us got a little carried away shopping at the Natural Choice grocery
store since almost everything in the store is gluten-free.
Carol (& Steve), thank you so much for making all the arrangements for the restaurant
and for the tour of Natural Choice, sharing the "must try" and for arranging the 10%
discount!! This all went so well because of your thoughtfulness!
Ashley, thanks for the molasses tip (now I can get my much needed iron without another
pill)..I'm going to buy it tomorrow! Kate, thanks for bringing the coupons for Earthfare
items and, as always, for the information you have to share! If you haven't been to
Kate's web-site, you just must! She has so much good information about GF places in
