Mission

Celiac
Celiac disease is a genetic disorder.  It can be triggered during childhood or later as an adult.
The common symptoms of celiac are abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue, and weight loss.  Celiac
can, however, manifest itself with other symptoms or none at all. Celiacs cannot eat foods
that contain gluten, which is found in wheat, rye, barley and other grains.
If gluten is consumed then an autoimmune reaction occurs that
damages the intestinal villa.
