If you have just received the celiac diagnosis from your doctor but did not receive a "New
Patient Information" folder or CDRom disc of key documents to help you get started then this
page is for you.  We try to distribute folders and CDRoms to all the primary care physicians but
as you can image it's extremely difficult to reach each doctor in the Charlotte area.  The
information below is exactly what we include in the packages and all documents are available
out on the internet.  We simply picked the most credible sources and what we think are the key
things to know when you get diagnosed.  Start with reading the welcome letter.  Then read the
documents under the "Information on Celiac Disease & The Gluten-Free Diet" section to gain a
better understanding of your condition and what you need to know in order to manage the diet.
Finally, the information under "Local & National Support" will help you get around here locally
(for shopping, dining) and on the internet to gain more information.  Welcome!
